This is an issue where your voice, your money, your time and your efforts will make a difference. From the biggest donors to someone who takes 5 minutes to contact their State Legislator or State Senator once, every bit helps. Read below to find out how to make your voice heard and how to make sure Legalize Kentucky Now makes medically necessary marijuana a reality in Kentucky this year!

DONATE

Every dollar helps. Legalize Kentucky Now is a non-profit issue advocacy entity that uses money to raise awareness, lobby, organize, promote and push for the legalization of medically necessary marijuana. Although many of our donors are proud public supporters, technically donations to Legalize Kentucky Now are anonymous and protected from public scrutiny. While donations are not tax deductible, they will go directly to our advocacy activities, including benefitting pro-legalization candidates and educating the public on the benefits of medically necessary marijuana to those afflicted by illnesses and to the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a whole. Again: Every. Dollar. Matters. Thank you for considering donating to Legalize Kentucky Now.

CONTACT LEGISLATOR

Facts, figures, arguments, science and reasoned pleas from our leadership and lobbyists can affect Legislators, but nothing makes Legislators willing to support medically necessary marijuana like hearing from their voters that this is an issue that will matter for re-election. As the Legislative session moves forward, we’ll be working with our strategists to identify key Legislators who will make the difference between passage and failure, and we will mobilize and organize campaigns for mass contacts to those Legislators. But hearing from constituents at any time of the year about an issue like this will stick with Legislators, and hearing from as many people as possible will let them know that this is a popular issue that has broad support. If you know your Legislator, feel free to call them. If you don’t know who your Legislator is, visit this page to see who to contact.

VOLUNTEER

Every minute matters, and for this to succeed we’re going to need incremental progress, every single day. From writing content on this blog to volunteering in key special election districts to organizing fundraisers to identifying key businesses or opinion leaders in your area, every little bit helps. If you have any special skills or ideas for how we can move this issue forward, we want to hear from you. Online, social networking and other promotion requires people who believe in this. If you know someone who would benefit from medically necessary marijuana, we want to hear from them. In short, every bit of help will make a difference on this issue, and if you are willing to help, we will find something for you to do. Please contact us to let us know what talents or ideas you want to share with us.

IT'S TIME TO
LEGALIZE KENTUCKY NOW

In short, the time has come. Kentucky can be a national leader on an issue that will improve the lives of Kentuckians, whether they choose to use marijuana or not. Just like everyone benefits from the regulation, safe distribution, taxes and laws about alcohol or cigarettes, everyone in Kentucky will benefit from the legal sales and decriminalization of marijuana.
